Rain showers will overspread the state this afternoon, becoming steadier and heavier tonight. The moderate to heavy rain will continue tomorrow, with intense rainfall and possibly thunderstorms throughout the day. The cold front will move through tomorrow evening ending the heavy rain, possibly as a bit of snow west of I-95 and by this time, up to 3 inches of rain will have fallen.
Temperatures rebound into the 50s Friday under mostly sunny skies, beginning what looks to be a very nice weekend with highs into the 60s Saturday, and mid 50s Sunday.
