Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon across the state as a cold front moves through the region. There is a slight risk that some of these storms may become severe, with damaging winds. Be sure to monitor the weather, especially if plans take you outdoors this afternoon and evening.
The front should clear the area later this evening, bringing in cooler and drier air tonight and tomorrow. A mostly sunny day, with highs in the mid to upper 60s is expected tomorrow, before more unsettled weather moves in Friday and into next week.
