Light to moderate showers will develop across the state today, increasing in coverage into tonight. Showers will continue through tomorrow morning as the warm front pushes north of the area.
We get into the warm sector of the system tomorrow which brings a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. The front is expected to stall out near the area, allowing the threat of showers and thunderstorms to continue Sunday and Sunday night, but also allowing warmer air to overspread the state with highs near 80.
The front will push north again Sunday night, taking the threat of rain away. Monday through Wednesday look to be dry with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s.
Another system moves in Wednesday and Thursday.
