High temperatures will again be in the mid 90s today with heat indices in the upper 90s to low 100s. Meanwhile, a cold front will sag south through the state, bringing a slight chance of thunderstorms this afternoon but also bringing cooler and dryer air for the rest of the week and into the weekend.
Dry conditions will persist through the weekend and into next week.
