Canadian high pressure builds in today, bringing light northerly winds, below normal temperatures and drier air to the region. Temperatures will be in the 70s in the mountains and low to mid 80s elsewhere today and tomorrow with noticeably lower humidity. This would be extremely pleasant for any time of the year, but especially so in mid-July. Low temperatures will dip to the mid to upper 60s overnight, possibly into the 50s outside of the urban areas.
The pleasant weather will continue through the weekend before the heat and humidity return again early next week, with highs back into the mid 90s.
