Showers and thunderstorms will continue to affect the area over the next several hours. Skies will partially clear before showers and storms develop again this afternoon. The system will clear the area tonight, ushering in a cooler and dryer airmass tomorrow and Friday. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 80s tomorrow and into the weekend before the next system moves in, bringing a chance of storms Saturday and Sunday.
Otherwise, we are entering a pattern of near normal weather for early August. Temperatures in the mid to upper 80s and no major heatwaves in the foreseeable future.
