The state will remain under the influence of a low pressure system that is slowly working towards the coast today. It will begin to move northeast and take the showers and storms with it tomorrow. Today will be much like yesterday, with scattered showers and storms. The storms will again be capable of producing heavy rainfall. Wednesday looks to be rain free before another system moves in on Thursday, bringing another round of showers and storms on both Thursday and Friday. That front should clear the area on Friday, but it will stall out just to our south, keeping a low chance of rain into the weekend.
This week’s best weather day: Wednesday – Sunny with highs in the mid to upper 80s.
This week’s worst weather day: Today – Showers & Thunderstorms likely.
