As the low pressure system continues to drift away from the area, scattered showers will develop this afternoon. Today certainly won’t be like Sunday and Monday, but nonetheless, any additional rain could cause flooding in areas that have seen excessive rainfall.
High pressure finally takes control tomorrow, bringing a return to sunshine and near normal temperatures with highs in the mid 80s but the unsettled pattern will continue, as another system moves in bringing another round of showers and storms on Thursday and Friday.
It looks like we may catch another break on Saturday before another system moves towards the area on Sunday and Monday.
