Today will be sunny with highs in the mid 80s. Expect much of the same tomorrow before the high pressure moves off shore and a cold front moves in.
Temperatures will increase in southerly flow ahead of the front and will be in the upper 80s on both Saturday and Sunday. Rain chances will also increase as the front approaches. There is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms on Saturday afternoon and a better chance on Sunday and Monday.
Things look to settle back down as we head towards mid-week next week, with temperatures knocked back to the 70s to near 80 for highs.
Katia has become a hurricane with winds of 75mph. The storm is headed west and computer models still indicate that it will re-curve before reaching the East Coast.
