Showers and storms to the west will continue to work east ahead of a cold front today. Temperatures will rise to the upper 70s ahead of the front, then begin to drop as north winds increase behind it this afternoon, gusting to near 20mph. Temperatures will bottom out in the upper 30s in the highlands, upper 40s west of the metro area and around 50 along the bay tonight. Temperatures will top out in the upper 60s to low 70s over the next few days as lows continue to fall into the low 50s.
Temperatures will moderate some next week, but will continue the dry conditions through mid week.
