Showers and thunderstorms will develop today. Some of these storms could become severe with large hail, damaging winds and possible tornadoes. Stay alert today as watches and warnings will likely be issued this afternoon.
The rain and storm threat will continue through this evening and into tonight. The associated cold front will cross the area tomorrow, bringing another round of showers and storms before pushing through.
Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 70s through Friday, before a secondary shot of cooler air moves in for the weekend. Highs on Saturday and Sunday will struggle to get out of the 50s before rebounding to the mid 60s as we head into next week.
