Today will be pleasant, as the area is between a departing cold front and the next system that will affect the area this weekend. Highs today will be in the mid 70s under Mostly Sunny skies. As the upper level low pressure moves towards the area tonight, clouds will thicken and shower chances will again increase.
This system will also arrive with a much cooler airmass. Lows tonight will drop into the low 50s along the Bay and reach the upper 30s in far western Maryland.
Tomorrow looks to be cloudy with scattered showers. Highs will only reach the upper 50s, and will struggle into the low 40s in western Maryland. Shower chances will continue Saturday night, and begin to taper off on Sunday. Highs Sunday will again be in the 50s in central Maryland, 40s in western Maryland.
The upper level low will clear out on Sunday night, allowing for a cool and pleasant start to the workweek before temperatures begin to warm again.
