High pressure will briefly take control today and tomorrow, before another cold front approaches and crosses the area on Thursday. The front will be accompanied by showers and will usher in more below average temperatures.
Highs behind the front will be in the low 50s on Friday and into the weekend. A coastal low pressure may bring precipitation to the area Friday night and Saturday.
