A low pressure system will develop to our south and move towards the area tonight. Showers will overspread the area tonight and continue through Wednesday night. There is the possibility that as the storm moves off to the northeast, enough cold air could wrap in behind it to change the rain to snow before ending. At this time, it appears that any changeover will likely be confined to mountains.
Rainfall totals look to be around a half inch before all is said and done.
Behind the storm, much colder air will move into the area, with highs in the mid 40s on Thursday and Friday, and only the low 40s into the weekend.
