The coastal storm that brought 2.06″ of rain at my station yesterday has quickly moved up into Canada today. While the rain did not change to snow in Central Maryland like anticipated, it did in Western Maryland where totals near a foot were seen. In the wake of the storm, much cooler air and breezy conditions can be expected. The high yesterday was 61 degrees and today’s will only make it to the mid 40s.
Temperatures will rebound to near 50 tomorrow ahead of a dry Alberta Clipper that will usher in the coldest air of the season thus far. Highs Saturday and Sunday will struggle to the low 40s with overnight lows in the mid to upper 20s.
Temperatures will moderate as we head into next week, reaching near normal for this time of year. Highs in the mid to upper 40s and continued dry.
