Today will be about 10 degrees warmer than yesterday, with highs in the low to mid 50s. Southwest winds will also increase today, gusting to near 25 mph. A weak cold front will slip through the area tonight and will stall out. Additionally, a potent storm that is currently bringing snow to western Texas will move towards the area tomorrow and pass through tomorrow night and Wednesday bringing widespread showers. The associated cold front will cross the area and bring in clearing Wednesday night.
High pressure builds back in on Thursday but is quickly pushed out by several weak systems that look to affect the area during the holiday weekend.
Temperatures will remain at or above normal through the weekend with no chance of wintry precipitation.
