The storm that I mentioned on Friday now looks like it will stay mostly to our south tomorrow. This storm motion, combined with the lack of cold air means that we will stay mostly dry, with a slight chance of rain to the central and southern parts of the state.
The next storm system will move through Wednesday and Thursday, moving up the Appalachian chain. With highs in the mid 50s and overnight lows in the mid 40s precipitation type will not be a question. Look for the storm to bring a good, soaking rain to the entire state. It will also drag a cold front across the region and bring in colder air next weekend along with accumulating snow showers to Western Maryland.
