Following an interesting Monday that brought the first trace of snow to the area, today will be partly to mostly sunny with highs in the low to mid 50s ahead of the next storm system. An area of low pressure will move up the Ohio Valley, bringing abundant moisture and rainfall to the area tomorrow afternoon and into tomorrow night. Rainfall totals of .75 to 1″ are likely before the storm pulls away late Wednesday night.
Following the storm, much colder and drier air will filter into the region behind a cold front passage on Thursday. Temperatures return to the upper 30s to low 40s for highs and mid to upper 20s for lows Friday through the weekend. Next week looks to start out cool, with gradual warming and no real threat of precipitation until mid to late week.
