After a soaking rain from yesterday’s storm, skies will slowly clear today and temperatures are expected to approach 60 degrees this afternoon. The warmth will be short lived though, as a cold front will cross the area tonight, bringing another batch of showers that may end as a period of light snow as much colder air races in. Highs tomorrow will struggle to reach the upper 30s as gusty NW winds continue to bring in the colder air.
Highs will remain in the mid to upper 30s through the weekend, as we remain under NW flow. A passing flurry is also possible, but skies will be generally partly sunny.
Temperatures will rebound a bit as we head into next week, before another cold front arrives midweek bringing temperatures back down to near normal for January.
