Gusty northwest winds will continue to bring in colder air today. Expect highs to top out in the upper 30s to near 40 with wind gusts to around 30 mph. Temperatures will drop into the low 20s tonight under clear skies as the winds become calm. We should see another sunny but chilly day tomorrow before another cold front passes through tomorrow night, bringing another shot of colder air and possibly some flurries overnight.
Skies clear again on Friday with highs in the upper 30s ahead of our next storm system. A low pressure system will approach from the southwest and move over the area Friday night and Saturday. Temperatures may be cold enough during the overnight and early morning hours for the precipitation to start as snow or a rain/snow mix. Temperatures will rise above freezing and into the mid 40s on Saturday afternoon, turning any frozen precipitation to all rain. Rainfall totals could approach .75″ with this system.
After that system passes, we remain relatively warm ahead of the next cold front that looks to pass through on Tuesday.
