The entire state west of the Bay is under a Winter Weather Advisory for snow, sleet and freezing rain.
Garrett County is expected to see more accumulation of snow and ice, and is under a Winter Storm Warning.
Expect snow and sleet to develop after 10pm in most areas, changing to all sleet overnight.
Accumulations will range from less than an inch in Southern Maryland, around an inch in Central Maryland including the Baltimore/Washington metro and up to 3 inches across the northern and western counties.
The sleet will transition to freezing rain and ice accumulations of up to a tenth of an inch is possible across Southern and Central Maryland, up to 2 tenths of an inch across the northern and western counties and possibly over a quarter of an inch in Garrett County.
The freezing rain will transition to plain rain as temperatures rise above freezing around mid-morning tomorrow.
