High pressure will remain in control today and tomorrow bringing sunshine and highs in the low to mid 60s. It will also be breezy today with wind gusts to near 20mph.
There is also a chance of frost tonight as temperatures drop to near 40 in the cities and into the 30s in the northwestern suburbs.
An area of low pressure will move through the area Friday night and Saturday bringing a chance of showers. Skies will begin to clear Saturday afternoon as high pressure moves back in and takes control for the remainder of the weekend and into next week. Temperatures will also begin to climb back into 70s as we move into the work week.
Another storm system will approach the area mid week, bringing another chance of rain.
