High pressure building in from the north will help push a strong storm system to the south and away from the area. It will also continue the dry and sunny conditions through the weekend.
Today will be mostly sunny with highs around 60. Temperatures will drop into the 30s tonight, but a light wind should help keep frost from forming in most areas.
Tomorrow is Opening Day for the Orioles and the weather will cooperate. Expect sunny skies, with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s.
Tomorrow night will be a few degrees cooler than tonight and winds will turn calm, causing more widespread frost. Northern and Western Maryland are under a Freeze Watch, as temperatures may fall below freezing for a few hours during the overnight.
The weekend will be dry and breezy, with highs Saturday in the upper 50s and highs on Sunday in the mid to upper 60s.
A cold front will approach on Sunday night and another reinforcing front will move through on Monday. These fronts will bring unsettled weather, a chance of showers and cooler temperatures for next week.
