Showers associated with an area of low pressure are moving into the area from the southwest. Expect light rain to continue off and on through the day and into tonight. Highs today will be in the low 60s under cloudy skies.
Skies clear tomorrow, as high pressure builds in from the north. Expect temperatures to reach the upper 60s to near 70 under mostly sunny skies.
High pressure moves off the coast on Friday, allowing southerly flow to increase, driving temperatures back up into the mid to upper 70s under sunny skies. Clouds increase Friday night as another, a cold front and larger storm system moves in for the weekend.
Showers and thunderstorms are possible Saturday afternoon as highs again reach the mid 70s ahead of the cold front. Rain chances increase to likely Saturday night through Monday as an area of low pressure forms along the front and moves up the coast. The potential exists for a much needed soaking rain state-wide Sunday into Monday.
Temperatures for the first part of the week will remain cool in the wake of the storm system.
