High pressure builds in today, pushing yesterday’s cold front down into the Carolinas. Expect ample sunshine with breezy conditions and highs into the low 60s.
Skies will remain clear into tonight, before clouds and rain begin to overspread the area again towards morning. An area of low pressure will move along the front to our south, providing showers and possibly thunderstorms as we move towards tomorrow afternoon.
The rain chances will continue into tomorrow night, tapering off as we move into Sunday morning. Highs both days will be around 60.
High pressure will build back in Sunday afternoon and control the weather for the first part of the work week. Temperatures will remain cool with highs in the low to mid 60s as the front remains south of the area. It will move back north as a warm front as we head into mid week, bringing another chance of showers and warmer temperatures for the latter half of the week.
