A low pressure system to our west will push a warm front through tomorrow, allowing warm, muggy air to flow into the region. Additionally, a cold front will approach from the west. This will set the stage for scattered showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid 70s under mostly cloudy skies.
The front will slow as it moves through and an area of low pressure is expected to develop along it. This will prolong and increase rain chances Tuesday night through Wednesday and into Wednesday night. Showers and thunderstorms are likely through this period. Highs Wednesday will again be in the mid 70s.
High pressure builds in on Thursday and Friday, setting the stage for a dry weekend, with temperatures near normal for this time of year.
