An upper level low pressure system is currently parked over the northeast. As it spins, several disturbances will rotate around it and bring a chance of showers and thunderstorms each day through Thursday. Rain chances will be low, though and the majority of each day will be partly sunny.
Today will be mostly sunny, with highs in the mid 70s. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and into tonight.
Tuesday will slightly cooler than today with highs in the low 70s with showers possible through the day.
Temperatures will again be in the low 70s on Wednesday with showers and thunderstorms possible.
The low begins to move out on Thursday. But before it does, another day of scattered showers and thunderstorms is likely. Temperatures begin to climb, and highs will be in the mid 70s.
High pressure builds in on Friday, bringing a return of dry weather and high temperatures into the 80s through the weekend.
