…EXCESSIVE HEAT WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY MORNING THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING…

A hot, humid airmass pushes into the region today and will remain in place through the middle of next week. Highs today will be in the mid 90s under mostly sunny skies.

There is a slight chance of thunderstorms tonight as storms from the midwest move through.

An Excessive Heat Watch is in effect for tomorrow as temperatures approach 100 degrees and the heat index approaches 110. There is also a chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms.

Saturday currently looks dry, with highs again in the upper 90s. There is another chance of thunderstorms late Saturday night.

Sunday and Monday will each feature high temperatures near 100 with a slight chance of thunderstorms.

Mid 90s are expected Tuesday and Wednesday.
