Hot and Humid, Scattered Thunderstorms

EVENING…

Happy 4th of July!! Today will be mostly cloudy, hot and humid with thunderstorms developing in the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid to upper 90s with heat indices from 100-105. Some of the storms may be severe with damaging winds and large hail. If you have outdoor plans today, be sure to stay alert.

Any and all storms that develop this afternoon and evening will weaken tonight and should not interfere with firework displays.

Tomorrow is shaping up to be another hot and humid day, with highs around 100 degrees.

Expect more of the same on Friday and Saturday, with highs around 100 degrees under mostly sunny skies.

It is looking like the pattern will break down on Sunday, bringing some relief from the heat. Highs on Sunday will be in the low to mid 90s, with a chance of thunderstorms.

Highs look to be back to near normal as we move into next week.
