A stalling cold front just to our north will continue to be the focus for shower and thunderstorm development. A weak area of low pressure is expected to develop along the front, keeping the chance of rain in the forecast through Saturday.
Expect showers and thunderstorms to develop this afternoon. Some of the storms could produce locally heavy rainfall. Highs will push into the low 90s.
Temperatures will be about 10 degrees cooler tomorrow, with more showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Highs will top out in the low 80s.
Showers may persist into Saturday as the area of low pressure slowly moves away from the area. Cloud cover and easterly flow will also keep temperatures below normal for this time of year. Highs around 80 degrees are expected.
Partial clearing is expected for Sunday, highs will be in the mid 80s.
Another system will approach during the early half of next week. This will cause temperatures to rise out ahead of it. Highs Monday and Tuesday will be back into the 90s before cooling back to near normal for the middle to latter half of the week.
