High pressure will continue to control the weather today as it slowly pushes off the coast. Highs today will be in the mid 70s under mostly sunny skies.
A cold front will slide south towards the area tonight, spawning showers later tonight and tomorrow. There is also a chance of thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon as the front gets closer to the state. Highs tomorrow will be in the upper 70s.
The front will slowly push into the state tomorrow evening into tomorrow night and will stall out just to our south. Shower chances will continue as upper level energy moves along the front tomorrow night.
The front will remain across the area for the remainder of the week and into the weekend. Several weak low pressure systems are expected to ride along the front and depending on the exact location of the front, these are likely to bring more rain showers to the area Thursday and Friday.
High temperatures will be in the low to mid 70s through the remainder of the week.
Unsettled weather looks to continue into the weekend, with shower chances persisting through Sunday.
