A rainy Tuesday is on tap, with rounds of showers and thunderstorms into tonight.
An area of low pressure is centered over Kentucky and moving northward. This will keep pushing moisture into the area, resulting in wide spread shower and thunderstorm activity. Highs today will be in the mid 70s.
The low pushes northward tomorrow and any clouds and leftover showers will move out as well. In it’s wake, expect a partly sunny and warm day with highs in the mid 80s.
High pressure builds continues to build in on Thursday, bringing several days of mostly sunny skies. Highs Thursday will be in the low 80s, cooling down to the low 70s by Saturday.
A strong cold front will push through the area late this weekend. This will bring another chance of showers and thunderstorms on Sunday followed by much cooler and drier air for the upcoming work week.
