A brief break on Sunday morning before the next storm system affects the area Sunday evening through Tuesday. Highs Sunday will be in the low to mid 40s.
An area of low pressure is expected to develop along a cold front and bring an extended period of precipitation to the area. The precipitation may start as a mix Sunday night into Monday morning. All rain is expected by late Monday morning. The rain will continue, in waves through Tuesday.
The front will finally move off the coast as high pressure builds in Tuesday night and Wednesday. The middle to latter half of the work week looks cooler and breezy.
