Arctic air remains over the area today as high pressure builds in. Today will be mostly sunny with highs only reaching the upper teens to near 20 degrees.

A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect this morning for wind chills below zero.

Clouds will increase tonight as another clipper system approaches. The clipper will push through tomorrow bringing light snow to the area. Minor accumulations of a dusting to perhaps an inch are possible before the snow ends tomorrow evening.

It will be warmer than recent days with highs reaching the low 30s.

The clipper will reinforce the cold air, leading to a sunny but cold Sunday. Highs are expected to be in the upper 20s to around 30.

Yet another clipper system will approach Sunday night. This system will move by to our north but may bring some flurries or snow showers to the area.

This system will provide yet another reinforcing shot of cold air. Highs on Monday will be around 30 before falling back into the teens for highs Tuesday and only around 20 on Wednesday.

The remainder of the week looks cold, with another storm system possibly affecting the area by week’s end.
