A strong cold front will move into the region today and cross the area tonight. The front will bring showers and possibly a thunderstorm as it moves through.
Today, ahead of the front, it will become breezy. Expect more clouds than sun and highs in the low to mid 70s.
Showers will move in from west to east this evening, reaching central Maryland after dark.
The rain will taper off from west to east during the morning hours tomorrow. Skies will partially clear as cooler and drier air move in on gusty northwest winds. Highs will top out in the mid to upper 60s.
Overnight lows Saturday night will dip into the low 40s in central Maryland and may fall below freezing in western Maryland.
High pressure moves in Sunday, resulting in sunny skies. It will be cool, with highs in the low 60s.
Temperatures will start to rebound as we move into next week, with highs on Monday around 70 under sunny skies.
Moisture will increase as well, and showers will be possible Tuesday or Wednesday.
