As high pressure continues to build into the region today, expect another partly sunny day with highs in the upper 40s.
An area of low pressure will swing a cold front through the area tomorrow. The front will be accompanied with scattered showers with the greatest chance of showers during the afternoon hours. Highs will be in the upper 40s to around 50.
Behind the front, the weather will turn quiet for the remainder of the week. Expect mostly sunny skies Wednesday through Friday. Highs on Wednesday will be in the upper 40s, falling into the low 40s for highs Thursday and Friday.
By Friday night, an area of low pressure will begin to affect the area. The details of this forecast will come into focus over the next several days, but the potential exists for a significant coastal storm to bring rain or snow to the east coast this weekend.
