Clouds will thin today as high pressure builds into the region. Highs will be in the low 40s.
The high will persist this weekend, as an area of low pressure moves off of the coast to our south. This system may spread some clouds into our area, but we will remain dry. Highs will be in the low 40s both tomorrow and Sunday.
Another area of low pressure may bring some light rain to the area on Monday as it too pushes off the coast to our south. Highs will be in the mid 40s.
Another more complex and more significant system looks to take shape Tuesday and Wednesday. This system currently looks as though it will pass by to our northwest, keeping us on the warm side of the storm. If that track holds, expect rain Tuesday into Wednesday. Highs will be around 50 both days. The rain may end as snow Wednesday night as the storm cranks up and strong northwest winds bring in much colder air.
Behind the system, strong northwest winds will continue Christmas day with highs in the low 40s.
