The models are generally coming to agreement that a moderate snowstorm could affect our area Sunday into Monday.
Here you can see the timeline and snowfall from last night’s GFS:

In a nutshell, the GFS has snow developing across the state by 7pm Sunday and increasing in intensity through the night and into Monday morning. The snow then tapers off during the afternoon hours Monday. Taking a standard 10:1 snowfall ratio, this run of the GFS puts down 5-10″ of snow.
This is *not* a forecast, but is the output from this particular run of the GFS. The models will fluctuate and change over the next few days and there is still some uncertainty and disagreement regarding the exact track and the strength of the storm, but at this time it appears that a moderate snow event will impact our area Sunday evening through Monday.
