With a fresh snow pack and arctic air settled over the region, lows this morning have fallen into the low teens and single digits across the state. Temperatures will only climb into the mid to upper 20s this afternoon under mostly sunny skies.

We will have another cold night tonight as temperatures fall once again, into the single digits to low teens.

A warming trend will start tomorrow with highs around 40° under mostly sunny skies. The warming trend will continue on Sunday with highs into the 40s in most places.

There is a slight chance of a shower on Monday as even warmer air moves in. Highs will be around 50.

An area of low pressure may develop over the Carolinas and move by to our southwest midweek. This system may track close enough to our area to bring showers, especially south and east. Highs on Tuesday will be in the upper 40s to around 50.

Temperatures will likely peak on Wednesday, with highs in the mid to upper 50s under mostly sunny skies.

Highs look to remain near normal for the rest of the week.
