An area of low pressure currently over Arkansas will continue to push towards our area today, spreading rainfall across the state late this morning.
The rain will start from southwest to northeast between 10am and 1pm. The rain will become steady this afternoon and evening and then more “showery” overnight. When all is said and done tomorrow morning, anywhere from .50-1.00″ of rain is possible across the state.
Expect the rain to clear out tomorrow morning and at least partial sunshine to return during the afternoon hours. Temperatures should climb to near 60° for highs.
The sunshine will last through Thursday before another storm system approaches on Friday. Highs on Thursday will be in the low to mid 50s while highs on Friday will be around 50 as clouds and rain overspread the area.
Rain will be likely again Friday afternoon through Saturday. This rain could be heavy as well, with over an inch possible by Saturday evening.
That system should clear out late Saturday or Saturday night with a return to sunshine but slightly cooler temperatures on Sunday. Highs will be back into the upper 40s.
