A stationary front resides just to our south this morning with temperatures in parts of Virginia well into the 50s and 60s while we remain in the 40s.
A weak area of low pressure will slide along that front over the next few hours and some isolated showers may work into our area as it moves by. The best chance for showers will be late this morning and early afternoon.
After that, skies will begin to clear and temperatures should warm into the upper 50s to low 60s.
Expect a pleasant day tomorrow, with plenty of sunshine and highs in the mid 50s.
Another area of low pressure will bring rain into the area Friday into Saturday. Highs on Friday will be around 50° and highs on Saturday will be in the mid 50s.
That system should clear out late Saturday or Saturday night with decreasing clouds expected on Sunday. Highs will be around 50°.
