Clearing Skies Today; Chance of Showers Tomorrow

The light rain/sleet/snow mix that fell early this morning is now pushing off of the Delmarva coast and a cold front is approaching from the west.

Expect clearing skies and breezy southwest winds this afternoon. It will be warmer, with highs reaching the upper 50s to low 60s.

A clipper system will drop into the area tomorrow brining a slight chance of showers tomorrow afternoon and evening. Highs will be in the upper 50s.

Behind that system, strong northwest winds will gust to around 35mph as high pressure builds back in.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny and breezy, with highs in the low to mid 50s.

Thursday will see ample sunshine as well, and temperatures warming into the mid to upper 60s.

Rain chances increase again Friday into Saturday as a storm system brings a warm front and then a cold front through the area. Highs on Friday will be in the upper 60s to low 70s. The front will cross Friday night into Saturday, keeping rain chances in the forecast through Saturday afternoon. Highs on Saturday will be in the mid to upper 50s.

High pressure returns on Sunday, bringing a return to sunny skies with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s.
