High pressure is building into the region today with cooler and drier air. An area of low pressure will move by to our south tomorrow, followed by a front on Friday and high pressure for the weekend.
TODAY: Expect mostly sunny skies, cooler temperatures and breezy conditions. Highs will be in the low 70s. Northwest winds will gust to near 25 mph.
THURSDAY: A weak area of low pressure will slide by to our south, spreading showers into our area. The rain will be light but will likely last into the evening. Highs will be in the low to mid 60s.
FRIDAY: A weak cold front will pass through during the late afternoon hours. This will most likely be a dry passage with just a few clouds expected. Highs will be in the mid 70s.
SATURDAY: High pressure returns with more sunshine and near normal temperatures. Highs will be in the low to mid 70s.
SUNDAY: The high will push off of the coast allowing southerly flow to develop. This will raise temperatures and the increased moisture will lead to more clouds than Saturday. Highs will be around 80°.
MEMORIAL DAY: The warmth and humidity will continue to build and could result in scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the mid 80s.
