A weak cold front is moving into the area today. The front will stall out over the state into tomorrow as an area of low pressure moves through. The front will push south on Friday allowing high pressure to build in for the weekend.
TODAY: A cold front approaching from the west will trigger isolated to scattered showers this afternoon with a thunderstorm or two possible. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s.
THURSDAY: The front will remain in the area tomorrow as an area of low pressure rides along it. These two features will touch off afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the upper 80s to around 90°.
FRIDAY: The front will push southward allowing high pressure to move in. Expect mostly sunny skies, with highs in the upper 80s.
SATURDAY: High pressure will remain in control. Expect mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid 80s.
SUNDAY: The high moves off of the coast, allowing southerly flow to develop. This will result in increased moisture leading to isolated showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s.
