High pressure is building into the region today while a front remains stalled out to our south. Low pressure will develop and ride along the front tomorrow into Friday. High pressure will return for the weekend.
TODAY: Skies will become mostly sunny today as high pressure builds in from the northwest. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s.
THURSDAY: Low pressure will move towards the area from the southwest, spreading scattered showers into the state by late in the day. The best chance of showers will be across southern Maryland the lower Eastern Shore. Highs will be in the low 80s.
FRIDAY: The low will continue to slide by to our south, spreading showers into the state, again, mainly across southern Maryland and the lower Eastern Shore. Any rain will taper off during the day as the low pulls away during the afternoon. Highs will be in the low 80s.
SATURDAY: High pressure builds back in, resulting in mostly sunny skies with highs in the mid 80s. There is a slight chance of a pop up shower or thunderstorm during the afternoon.
SUNDAY: Expect mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid to upper 80s.
