Summary: A cold front will slide through the area today followed by high pressure tomorrow. High pressure will remain in control through Saturday before another cold front moves through the region late Saturday into Sunday.
Showers will continue to pass through the state this morning and into this afternoon. Some of the showers could produce brief heavy rainfall and gusty winds. The rainfall will taper off and end during the evening hours as the front moves across the state from west to east. Highs will be in the mid 60s this afternoon.
High pressure will slide in behind the front and take control of our weather into the weekend. Expect mostly sunny skies and breezy conditions both tomorrow and Saturday, with highs in the low to mid 50s each day.
Another cold front will push through Saturday night into Sunday morning. This front will have limited moisture but a few rain or rain/snow showers are possible late Saturday night or early Sunday morning.
The front will bring a reinforcing shot of cold air for Sunday and into next week. Highs will be in the mid to upper 40s through Tuesday with overnight lows in the mid to upper 20s each night.
