Scattered Showers Today then Clearing for the Weekend

Summary: A frontal boundary remains over our area today. The front will slide south later today and high pressure will build in for the weekend. A cold front will pass through on Tuesday.

A stationary front remains draped across our state today and will support scattered showers this morning and possibly a few thunderstorms this afternoon. The front will move south of our area tonight and high pressure will slowly build in, ending the rain threat. Highs will be in the low 80s.

With high pressure in control, expect a pleasant late June weekend with mostly sunny skies tomorrow and Sunday and highs in the low to mid 80s both days.

Temperatures and humidity will increase on Monday ahead of a cold front that will pass through on Tuesday. The increase in both will support scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms.

More showers and storms are possible on Tuesday as the front passes through.

High pressure will return Wednesday with lower temperatures and less humidity.
