With cold high pressure remaining over eastern Canada, and several more storm systems expected to develop, we are facing another week of active wintry weather.
Today: Ongoing intermittent light freezing rain and freezing drizzle will continue, affecting areas north and west of I-95. Winter Weather Advisories are in effect for these areas.
Tonight-Tuesday Morning: Another system will move northward, to our west, bringing more widespread precipitation. Areas east of I-95 will see plain rain, but once again, areas north and west of I-95 will likely see some more, minor ice accumulation, before a change to rain. The rain could be heavy at times.
Wednesday Night-Thursday: Another, stronger area of low pressure will develop over the gulf coast and move towards our area. The exact track is not known, but additional, possibly significant winter weather is possible with this system.
