After several warm days, a cold front will cross the area late Saturday, setting the stage for a possible period of light snow late Saturday night into Sunday morning.
Weak low pressure will develop off the Carolina coast and move northeast. This will likely spread some light snow into our area. Right now, this looks like a very minor event, with a dusting to perhaps an inch in spots.
