A cold front to our west is currently pushing locally heavy rain and embedded thunderstorms through the area.

The front will clear the area this afternoon, bringing an end to all rain chances and allowing skies to begin to clear. Highs will be in the low 70s.

High pressure builds in for the weekend. It will be be breezy tomorrow, under mostly sunny skies. Highs will be in the mid 60s.

Sunday will be much like Saturday, with less wind. Expect mostly sunny skies with highs in the low to mid 60s.

Increasing Clouds Today; Rain Tonight and Tomorrow

Clouds will increase today as a cold front approaches from the west. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s.

The front will push Gulf moisture into the region tonight, with showers and possibly a thunderstorm developing after midnight.

Rain and thunderstorms will continue tomorrow, possibly heavy at times especially in the morning. Flash flooding will be possible in the heavier showers.

The rain will taper off during the afternoon hours. Highs will be in the mid 70s.

Today will be more like July 10th instead of April. It will be mostly sunny and hot, with highs around 90 degrees. Additionally, isolated afternoon showers and thunderstorms are possible. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds.

Tomorrow will feature increasing clouds, with a high in the low 80s.

A cold front will make it’s way into the region tomorrow night. Showers and thunderstorms are likely tomorrow night, as the front approaches the state.

Rain activity will continue Friday morning, possibly heavy at times before tapering off during the afternoon as the front finally pushes through the area. Highs on Friday will be in the mid 70s.

With high pressure remaining off the southeast coast, our stretch of very warm weather will continue today. Highs will be in the low 80s under partly sunny skies. There is a very slight chance of a pop up afternoon shower.

Tomorrow will be even warmer, with highs hitting the mid to upper 80s under mostly sunny skies.

Thursday will start out sunny but clouds will increase during the day with showers and thunderstorms moving in by late afternoon as a cold front approaches from the west.

Showers and thunderstorms are likely Thursday evening and during the overnight. Highs Thursday will reach the 80s.

Clockwise flow around a high pressure off the southeast coast will bring the first big warm up of the year while keeping rain chances to a minimum through mid week.

Today will be partly sunny, with highs in the mid 70s.

Tomorrow will be even warmer, with a slight chance of a pop up shower or thunderstorm.

Otherwise, expect mostly sunny skies with highs will be around 80 degrees.

Low level fog has formed across much of the metro areas this morning. The fog will burn off and scour out as winds begin to increase this morning. A second cold front will push through this afternoon, bringing a slight chance of a shower and gusty winds. Highs today will be in the low 60s.

Behind the front, winds will remain gusty and temperatures will be about 10 degrees cooler. Highs tomorrow will be around 50 degrees under mostly sunny skies.

Today will be much like the past few, with a mix of clouds and sun and a chance of an afternoon shower. Although, the cloudiness, shower chances and winds will be less than in previous days. Highs will top out in the mid to upper 50s.

High pressure builds in tomorrow, providing abundant sunshine and calmer winds. Highs will be in the upper 50s.

Clouds will increase tomorrow night and Sunday morning as a cold front approaches from the west. The front will spread showers over the state from west to east during the late morning into the afternoon and evening. Highs will be in the upper 50s.

As we remain under the influence of high pressure to our west and low pressure to our east, another day of partial sunshine, a chance of a sprinkle and gusty winds is on tap. Highs today will be in the low 50s.

A slight improvement tomorrow, with more sunshine and decreasing winds. Highs will be in the mid 50s.

Saturday will feature even more sunshine and warmer temps. Expect highs near 60.

High pressure moving in from the west combined with low pressure to the northeast will cause strong gusty winds today and tomorrow. Additionally, like yesterday, scattered showers or flurries are possible this afternoon. Highs today will be in the upper 40s to low 50s.

Tomorrow will be nearly a carbon copy of today. Partly sunny, windy, with highs around 50.

Temperatures will begin to climb on Friday and into the weekend. Friday will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 50s.

Saturday will be the nicer day of the weekend. Expect sunny skies with highs in the mid to upper 50s.

Yesterday’s storm continues to move away from the area, leaving northwest flow in it’s wake. A total of 3.2 inches of snow fell at BWI yesterday, making it the snowiest day since January 2011! Totals around 5 inches were common along and west of I-95.

Pop-up rain and snow showers are possible this afternoon. It will be breezy, with highs in the low to mid 40s.

Partly sunny conditions with northwest flow will persist through the end of the week, maintaining below normal temperatures. Highs Wednesday through Friday will be around 50 degrees.
